Local Blog

A friend of mind sent me this link. I was venting on facebook a while back about how crazy people are about their kids and sports. This is about dance. Ady's dance recital is soon. The dance studio where Ady takes dance classes sells tickets for one week at the beginning of May. The days before tickets go on sale families camp out to get in line for tickets. Tickets were on sale from 8-12 that day and I went at 11:45. We are in the third to the last row but in the middle. The auditorium (at the high school) is not even that big so any seat really is just fine. I buy the video anyway so we can watch at home over and over. We are there to watch her dance and I think that is the most important thing. Besides, if we are in the back we can sneak out quickly to pick her up and get her home. The recital is tomorrow night. She will be great, I am sure!

  1. Wow, I'd be rather annoyed if I had to pay to watch my girls' dance recital. I feel like I already pay a small fortune for the lessons and the costumes. It sounds like without tickets you wouldn't even get a seat though.
