Conference

We are so impressed with the principal at Ady's school. He attended the conference with us last night. He is supportive and I don't doubt that he wants the best for Ady. He is willing and open to allow Ady to attend any school functions and a few non-core classes during the school hours. We appreciate that! The conference went well. Her teacher seems willing (but maybe not eager) to have Ady attend some activities at school while she is homeschooled. She was trying to suggest that Ady would get more out of staying in the classroom. While I think this can be true for some kids, I am only thinking what is best for Ady. The principal actually suggested that Ady might actually learn more from staying home. I am going to speak to the principal again today to verify our plan and make sure that we can begin Monday. We are excited, but nervous at the same time!

  1. I can completely see being excited and nervous all at the same time! Only you as parent's know the right decision for your child. I sure hope everything goes smoothly with the transition. Emily will for sure miss her at school so we will have to plan for playdates!
